Saving Tomatoes seeds is so easy...

The first time I realized you can create free food if your provide your own seed and your own compost it was like a switch was flicked. Growing a compost pile is easy you just need space and time. Just like saving your own seed. If you know how to do it, you can be your own source of radical and self-generating food.

Step one: Grow some heirloom or open-pollinated tomatoes.

Step two: Harvest them when they are fully ripe, close to rotting but not moldy or rotten yet.

Step three: Clean them and crush them.

Step four: Allow them to ferment for 48-72 hours or until there is a white mold on the surface of the mashed tomatoes.

Step five: Place in large container/ bucket and rinse the fruit away from the seeds.

Step six: Repeat the processes for 8-10 times until the seed, in the bottom of the container, is clean enough for your standards.

Step seven: Place seeds on a screen in a dry, warm, and well ventilated area.

Step eight: Once dry bag them and store them in a dry, cool, dark place.
